On June 14, 2025, at precisely 12:00 noon, the official opening of the sailing season will take place, organized by the Łebsko Sailing Club. The event will take place at the picturesque ŁKŻ Base on Lake Sarbsko, next to the Habenda Campground.

The initiative is led by the "Łeba – Błękitna Kraina" Local Tourist Organization in cooperation with the Municipal Council of Seniors. The project received financial support from the first edition of the Baltic Power grant program.

A modern operations and maintenance base will be built in Łeba, providing a key support base for the Bałtyk 2 and 3 offshore wind farms – a joint project between Equinor and Polenergia. The Polish company Erbud has been appointed general contractor for the project.
