Lębork County on the beach in Łeba. "From the sea to Kashubia v. 2.0"

Łeba is a place where the sea meets regional culture, holiday relaxation meets local tradition, and the beach often becomes a natural stage for exciting events. This will no longer be the case on July 21, 2026 , when the event "Lębork County. From the Sea to Kashubia v. 2.0" will take place at the entrance to beach no. 18 .

This event is for both residents and tourists visiting Łeba. It aims to demonstrate that the region offers more than just beaches and the Baltic Sea, but also the rich Kashubian culture, local flavors, music, family attractions, and interesting places worth exploring during your vacation.

Family fun, Kashubian culture and a seaside atmosphere

The event program is divided into several thematic zones, ensuring there's something for everyone—children, families, lovers of regional culture, shanty music fans, and those who enjoy discovering local flavors.

The beach will feature a Family Fun Zone, a Kashubian Culture Zone, a Sea Rhythms Zone , and a Kashubian Flavors Zone. It sounds like the perfect plan for a truly enjoyable afternoon by the sea—without having to choose between relaxation and entertainment, as everything will take place right on the beach.

Event Program - July 21, 2026

11:00–13:00 — Family Fun Zone

The event will kick off with activities for the youngest. The program includes activities for children prepared by the Palace Pod Bocianim Gniazdem in Runowo and the Przygoda Tourism and Artistic Agency.

This is a good option for families who want to combine beach time with active, creative play for children.

13:00–14:00 — Kashubian Culture Zone

The next stop will be the Kashubian Culture Zone. Attendees will enjoy dances, music, folk instruments, and Kashubian games with the KZPiT LEVINO.

It's an opportunity to experience the regional atmosphere and see how vibrant, colorful, and joyful Kashubian culture can be. For tourists, it can be a great addition to a Baltic Sea vacation—because Łeba and the surrounding area are not only about the sea but also a crucial part of Pomeranian identity.

14.00–15.00 — Sea Rhythms Zone

After Kashubian rhythms, it's time for music strongly associated with the sea. As part of the Sea Rhythms Zone, there will be a shanty concert by the OLD BOYS band.

Shanties on the beach in Łeba? This combination doesn't really need much explanation. The sea in the background, the summer atmosphere, and nautical music create an atmosphere that perfectly suits this seaside town.

15.00–16.00 — Kashubian Flavor Zone

The culmination will be the Kashubian Flavor Zone. The program will include stories about Kashubian cuisine and a tasting of herring with pulki.

For those who enjoy local food and regional culinary curiosities, this will be one of the highlights of the event. Kashubian cuisine has its own unique character, and the holidays are the perfect time to explore it without rushing—preferably by the sea.

Attractions available during the event

Additional attractions and booths will be available throughout the event. The program includes:

  • promotion of the St. James Fair in Lębork,
  • promotional stands of the Lębork County and partners,
  • pottery workshops,
  • live mascots,
  • giant blocks,
  • painting personalized cotton bags,
  • a virtual tour of the attractions of the Nowa Wieś Lęborska commune.
