Mindful, Aware, and Resilient to Change. Workshops for the Residents of Łeba

Mindful, Aware, and Resilient to Change. Workshops for the Residents of Łeba

The pace of life, daily responsibilities, changes, stress, tension, and information overload mean that more and more people need a space where they can pause for a moment. Not to escape reality, but to better understand it, tame emotions, and find their own way to function more calmly.

This is precisely what the "Mindful, aware, resistant to change" program aims to achieve , i.e. a series of development workshops that strengthen the mental health of Łeba's inhabitants.

This workshop is for those who want to improve their well-being, better manage stress, discuss emotions, and develop mental resilience in everyday life. The workshops are supportive, practical, and developmental.

Mental Health Enhancement Program

Mental health is as important as physical health. It influences relationships, work, family, leisure, decisions, and how we respond to change. That's why local initiatives that help residents develop mindfulness, awareness, and emotional resilience are so crucial.

The "Mindful, Aware, and Resilient to Change" program was designed as a series of four workshops. Each workshop focused on a different area, but all shared a common goal: to empower residents and demonstrate that they don't have to face difficult emotions, changes, and challenges alone.

Workshop dates and topics

September 14th - "Made to Create"

The first workshop will take place on September 14th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The theme is "Created to Create.

This is a good start to the series—a meeting that can help participants see themselves through the lens of their own abilities, ideas, needs, and creative potential. Creating doesn't have to mean art in the traditional sense. Sometimes it's simply about building one's life in a more conscious way.

October 12th - "Taming Your Emotions"

The second workshop is scheduled for October 12, also from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The theme of the meeting will be "Taming Your Emotions.

Emotions can help, warn, motivate, but they can also be overwhelming. Therefore, it's worth learning to recognize, name, and understand them. This workshop can be particularly helpful for those who want to better cope with tension, anger, anxiety, sadness, or everyday overload.

November 9th - "On the Road to Happiness"

The third meeting will take place on November 9th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The workshop theme is "On the Path to Happiness.

Happiness is often associated with something large and distant, but in practice, it consists of daily choices, relationships, a sense of meaning, rest, and the ability to notice what truly matters. This workshop will be an opportunity to reflect on what supports well-being and how to create greater balance in your life.

December 7th - "The Calm Before the Storm"

The last workshop in the series is scheduled for December 7th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The theme of the meeting will be "The Calm Before the Storm.

It's a title that can evoke tension, change, and moments of anticipation. Life often presents us with situations in which we sense something approaching—a difficult conversation, a decision, a conflict, a change, or a crisis. The ability to pause, gain perspective, and consciously respond can be crucial in such situations.

Who are the workshops for?

These workshops are aimed at residents of Łeba who want to take care of themselves, better understand their emotions, and develop mental resilience. No prior experience in similar activities is necessary. A willingness to participate and an openness to conversation, reflection, and practical exercises are all that's needed.

This is a proposition for people of all ages - both for those going through changes and for those who simply want to live more calmly, more consciously and with greater attention to themselves and others.

It's worth taking care of yourself

The "Mindful, Aware, and Resilient to Change" program reminds us that caring for our mental health shouldn't be a topic we put off until later. Daily peace, the ability to discuss emotions, managing stress, and building resilience to change are things that truly impact our quality of life.

Such local initiatives are particularly important because they create a safe space for development close to home. Without the need for long journeys or formal distancing, they focus on people and their everyday needs.

We invite the residents of Łeba to participate in workshops and together strengthen mindfulness, awareness and resilience to change.
