7th Knights' Family Bicycle Pilgrimage from Lębork to Łeba
Łeba and the surrounding area are a perfect place not only for sunbathing but also for active exploration of the region. One of the most interesting options this summer is the 7th Knights' Family Bicycle Pilgrimage, which will take place on July 24, 2026.
The event will combine recreation, the spiritual nature of pilgrimage, a family atmosphere, and the beauty of the Pomeranian trails. Participants will follow the Trail of St. James, covering the route from Lębork to Łeba.
Following the Trail of St. James to Łeba
A bicycle pilgrimage is for those who enjoy spending time actively, but without the rush of sport. It's not about racing, breaking records, or proving to anyone that your calves are made of steel. It's more about sharing a path, a leisurely ride, meeting new people, and experiencing the day at a slightly different pace.
The pilgrimage route will lead through the towns of Lębork, Garczegorze, Łebień, Roszczyce , and then to Łeba . Participation in Holy Mass is planned in Roszczyce .
Event program
- 14.30 — transport of participants and bicycles to Lębork from Boleńca,
- 15.00 — common prayer in the church of St. James in Lębork,
- after the prayer — departure of participants on the route: Lębork – Garczegorze – Łebień – Roszczyce – Łeba,
- Roszczyce — Holy Mass,
- 19.30–20.00 — planned arrival in Łeba at the church of St. James the Apostle.
A family bike trip with a spiritual twist
The Knights' Family Bicycle Pilgrimage is an open and communal event for those who want to combine physical activity with a moment of reflection, prayer, and exploring the region from a bicycle.
Initiatives like these clearly demonstrate that the Łeba area can be explored in many ways. The beach and sea are, of course, a must, but cycling offers a completely different perspective—one that's more peaceful, closer to nature and local spots that we often pass by too quickly.
