16 local initiatives from Łeba supported by the "Power of the Baltic" program

On Friday, August 28th, the list of beneficiaries of the third edition of the "Power of the Baltic" program. This initiative, aimed at the local community of Łeba, aims to support socially important projects, strengthen the activity of residents, and develop local communities.

In the call for proposals that closed on June 30, 20 applications were submitted for a total amount of PLN 641,809 . Ultimately, 16 projects , which will be implemented in Łeba, received funding

Larger program budget

This year's program had a budget of PLN 350,000. This represents a significant increase compared to the previous year, with the pool of funds increased by PLN 120,000.

This made it possible to support a larger number of local initiatives. The "Power of the Baltic" program responds to the needs of residents and organizations seeking to implement social, educational, cultural, environmental, sports, and integration projects.

Program for the community of the City of Łeba

"The Power of the Baltic Sea" is a program of Baltic Power and the ORLEN dla Pomorza Foundation for the community of Łeba. Its goal is to support initiatives that have a real impact on the lives of residents—from local activities, through projects that engage various social groups, to initiatives that build bonds and develop the community.

The program's goal is not only to provide funding but also to foster local energy, creativity, and resident engagement. Such projects often best address specific city needs, as they stem directly from local experience.

Continuation of good neighborly activities

The "Power of the Baltic" program was initiated by Baltic Power in 2024. Since its second edition, it has been co-organized by the ORLEN Foundation for Pomerania , which has made it possible to significantly increase the scale of the program.

In the first two editions, 25 projects received support totaling PLN 380,000 . This year's third edition demonstrates that interest in the program remains high, and local organizations and institutions have many ideas for initiatives important to the residents of Łeba.

The program is one of the good neighborly activities related to the construction and future operation of the Baltic Power offshore wind farm and the functioning of its operational and service base in Łeba.
